    Logyard Brewing in Kane, PA is looking for a new Brewmaster! We’re a brewery that is located in Kane, PA within the Allegheny National Forest. Kane, PA is known as “a Star in the Forest” that also happens to be the Black Cherry capital of the world (Hardwood)!

    Our brewery is 4,000 square feet that sits on 12 acres. Our second location / Taproom is located on the main street in Kane’s business district. Our Taproom is 2,700 square feet with 73 seats. We have 12 beers on-tap in our Taproom and 8 at our Brewery. This is about 2-blocks from our brewery.

    Our brewhouse is a steam 15 BBL 4-vessel system ( HLT, MT, BK, WP). We have ample FV, Brites, Barrels, and custom Black Cherry Foeders / Barrels. We have our own WG2 Wild Goose Canning Line.

    Today, we have five distributors that deliver our beers into 54 counties. We have 2 more that will be finalized by the fall and round out all 67 counties in PA for us through distro. Additionally, we have our WA state license. We’re working on OH and NY next. We package our products into 16 oz. cans, ⅙ BBL kegs, and BBL kegs.

    We specialize in Hazy IPA's, IPA's, Shandy’s, Barrel-aged Stouts, and Unique Wood Products. We’re the only brewery in the US that has several unique wood species formulas TTB-approved in our products. Many more in the works!

    The ideal Brewmaster will have the following responsibilities / experience:
    • Handle the entire brewing process
    • Staff management: training, scheduling, hiring, SOP’s, etc.
    • Recipe creation
    • Previous brewery experience (A MUST)
    • Quality control management
    • Lab Experience
    • TTB BROP & state excise tax reporting
    • Setup brewery collaborations
    • Proficient in EKOS
    • Attend conference / festivals
    • Brewery schedule / forecasting
    • Brewery maintenance
    • Vendor relations, raw material ordering, and inventory
    • Distributor relations including PO fulfillment and invoicing
    • Income and expense management - P&L
    • Packaging of all of the beer

    Must be willing to relocate or be local.

    The right individual will be detail oriented with very high standards, easy to get along with, aspires to always innovate new styles, and insists on delivering high-quality beer. Able to work alone and with several people is also necessary, punctual, and pre-wired to always do the right thing when no one is looking.
