    Kombucha Brewer/Cellar person - Los Angeles, CA

    We are a small growing brewery within a larger restaurant with four locations. Everyone in the brewery wears a lot of hats. We are in need of someone self sufficient to take on our kombucha brewing and possibly some cellar duties for the brewery, assisting the brewers. 20-25 hours a week (room to grow hours as well).     Job Responsibilities
    • Possess a well-rounded knowledge of Kombucha brewing, both low/no alcohol kombucha and higher alcohol kombucha
    • Track and keep records on Kombucha and other beverages produced
    • Produce products of a consistent and high quality
    • Learn how to schedule accordingly to ensure inventory is well stocked
    • Coordinate with other locations for their beer/kombucha needs
    • Execute all cleaning, sanitation, and preparatory tasks for tanks to receive finished kombucha
    • Clean and fill kegs when needed
    • Perform all job functions within the guidelines stated in the Employee handbook of policies and procedures at Sage Vegan Bistro

    • Basic troubleshooting skills in a brewing/manufacturing setting

    • Skill in responsible decision-making
    • Ability to demonstrate reliability
    • Strong attention to cleanliness and sanitary procedures
    • Possesses current California Food Handlers’ Card

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to lift at least 55 lbs
    • Able to climb stairs with at least 55 lbs
    • Work safely with mildly hazardous chemicals
