About us:
TAPS is an independent craft brewery based in Orange County CA and has won over 30 GABF and World Beer Cup awards since 1999. We are looking to add a full-time production brewer to our family. Here at TAPS we pride ourselves on producing the highest quality beer and food and expect the right candidate to uphold the same levels of quality as we do. We are looking for somebody who is intensely passionate about the brewing industry and wants to grow into a leadership role as we expand.

Qualifications:

• 2 years minimum working as a production brewer
• Clear and concise communication skills
• Organized and efficient documentation skills
• Computer skills (word, excel, etc.)
• Excellent time management
• Strong mechanical skills
• Brewing school is not required but preferred

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Wort production on 30bbl brewhouse
• Fermenting beer management
• Bright beer management
• Centrifuge and filter operation
• Yeast handling and management
• Basic QA/QC
• Packaging kegs
• Running a bottling line or canning line
• Equipment and facility maintenance and upkeep
• Barrel filling, emptying, tasting and blending

Physical Requirements:

• Lift 55 lbs and move up to 165 lbs
• Bend, lift, reach, and stand on your feet for 8-10 hours
• Safely work with chemicals and hazardous materials
• Work in both hot and cold environments
