Great Barn Brewery is looking for a motivated individual to join our growing team! We are a family owned farm based brewery in Kintnersville, Pennsylvania. This position will be full time.
Responsibilities:
Brewhouse operations: wort production, KO transfers
Raw materials handling: brewing, fermenter additions, milling
Cellar operations: CIP SIP FV+BBT, CO2 purging, dry hopping, fruit additions
Canning line: setup, production run, cleaning, breakdown
Yeast handling: harvest, pitching
FV gravity, temperature readings
Production record keeping
Cleaning, scrubbing, organization of facility
Forklift, scissor lift operation
Warehousing, inventory management
Job requirements:
2 years production brewing experience
Formal brewing education a plus, but not required
Strong understanding of beer science, brewery technology and brewery operations
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Ability to frequently lift 55lb
Flexible schedule
Ability to work well alone or in a team environment
A sense of humor. No, seriously, You need it.
