We are State 48 Brewery that has 6 brew pubs and 4 separate breweries across Maricopa County. We are looking for a Brewer / Assistant brewer with experience to brew mainly at our Surprise location which is our original location. This is a 2 vessel 10bbl brew house with five 10 bbl fermenters. At this location you will get the fun job of creating all the new release beers. Some travel to our other locations will be required to help out when needed.
We are seeking an individual that is experienced and professional that wants to join a fast growing brewery.
Duties and responsibilities include:
• Entire brewing process, from milling to knock out.
• All cellar operations
• Yeast management
• Cleaning, maintaining and sanitizing, CIP
• Inventory, ordering and stocking of all materials required for brewing and packaging.
• Packaging.
• General cleaning of all production areas.
• Perform light maintenance on equipment.
Minimum Requirements include:
• 3 years minimum professional brewing experience on the deck as head brewer
• Must be extremely organized & accurate and somewhat of a clean freak.
• Physical ability to lift 55lb sacks overhead
• Positive attitude
• Quick learner with good comprehension skills
• Experience handling chemicals with an emphasis on following cleaning and sanitizing SOP's
