Vagabond Brewing - Salem OR: Hiring Brewer
We are small brewery in Salem OR that has been around for 8 years. We have multiple locations in OR that we serve our beer, along with distribution in the valley. We are currently canning and kegging brands and look to grow our volume. We are looking for a motivated individual to help us with that goal.
This position is for SALEM, OR
Tentative Start Date: ASAP
Requirements:
• Homebrewer / Craft Beer Enthusiast Preferred
• Working Knowledge of Brewing Theory & Applications
• Must be Immediately Available & Able to Work Afternoons/Weekends
• Must be able to work in hot, strenuous working conditions
• Ability to follow SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures)
• Basic Record Keeping
• Willingness to have fun and make great beer!
• Ability to lift 55lbs overhead
• Ability to lift 160lbs
• Clean license and ability to drive company van
Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Brewing, and all aspects of the process for quality wort production
• Performing CIP-SIP procedures including Cellaring, and all aspects of the process
• Keg Cleaning
• Grain Milling
• Yeast Management
• All Necessary Packaging Duties
• Adherence to cleanliness and quality control standards
• Lifting Heavy Objects
• Warehousing, including loading and unloading wholesalers and suppliers: receiving and shipping
