    Job Description:
    Rainy Daze Brewing Co. has been dazing the Kitsap Peninsula with our award-winning brews for the past 8 years. We are a small brewery and taproom located in Poulsbo, WA, operating off a 7.5 BBL system. We are dedicated to the quality of our product and in brewing an exceptional beer. The ideal candidate for this position is someone with a positive attitude and is very passionate about craft brewing.

    Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
    • Brewing or homebrewing experience preferred.
    • Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills. Ability to read reports, instructions, and procedures. Must possess solid skills in basic mathematical computations and possess basic computer skills.
    • Must be highly motivated, self-directed, organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to troubleshoot and work independently.
    • Knowledgeable in malt milling, brewhouse operation, wort transfers, yeast pitching, monitoring fermentation, cellaring, and CIP/SIP procedures.
    • Clear understanding of air and gas systems, including beer tap systems.
    • Maintain equipment using proper operating, preventative maintenance, and cleaning/sanitation procedures.
    • Strong technical background.
    • Must be able to lift, move or pull objects up to 50 lbs.
    • Ability to climb, stoop, crawl, twist, squat and reach overhead.
    • The position requires frequent, constant standing and walking.
    • A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends during peak business times, irregular hours, nights, and holidays.
    Responsibilities:
    • Wort production and brewhouse cleaning.
    • Fermentation management and Cellar duties.
    • Raw material management, including yeast handling.
    • Racking and conditioning beer.
    • Packaging kegged beer and cooperage management.
    • Cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance of all brewery equipment, including brewhouse, fermentation vessels, brite tanks and kegs.
    • Assisting in quality assurance and quality control.
    • Ability to operate a forklift and other mechanical equipment.
    • Daily recording of brewing/fermentation data.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $20 - $22 per hour, based on experience. Paid Vacation.
