POSITION: Brewer

OVERVIEW:
We have an opening for a Brewer in our Boston Brewery. The ideal candidate has a passion for brewing and will brew our beer according to set company recipes.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to multitask and adjust to changing priorities
• Minimum of 2 years brewing experience
• Ability to work varied shifts
• Proper use of PPE
• Mechanical aptitude
• Attention to detail
• Forklift certification a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Prior mastery Senior Cellar Operator skills
• Ability to perform all Brewhouse operations
• Start up and shutdown of facility processes
• Operation of Brewhouse computer
• Milling, hop additions, antifoam additions, spice additions
• Ability to perform cider production functions
• Management of fermenters
• CIP, Sanitization, temperature monitoring
• Monitor quality parameter and work to resolve issues promptly
• Maintain Brewhouse vessels in tour worthy condition
• Must be able to work together with other members of the quality and production staff to identify critical quality points and help generate solutions.
