Key Brewing Company in Baltimore, Maryland is looking to hire a full-time Brewer/Cellarperson to join our team.
The ideal candidate will possess a passion for brewing, must be detail-oriented and committed to quality, will always be looking for continuous improvement, will understand brewery sanitation and will help maintain a safe work environment.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, any and all aspects of brewhouse and cellar operations. Candidate will report directly to the Lead Brewer.
Minimum Requirements
-one year in production brewing
-experience and proficiency in wort production
-experience and proficiency in cellar operations (CIP, transfers, fermentation and yeast management)
-understanding of safe chemical handling practices
-ability to identify and troubleshoot process issues
-strong attention to detail, record keeping, communication and organizational skills
-flexible schedule
-ability to multitask
-formal brewing education/training and/or science/engineering degree preferred
-forklift certification preferred
