Solace Outpost is seeking to add a part-time brewer to help our Lead Brewer with day-to-day operations. This position will be part-time to start with the potential to become full-time as demand increases. The selected candidate will be trained in all aspects of the brewery.
Primary Duties:
-Clean draft lines
-Clean and fill kegs
-Assist with milling and brew-day operations
-Light cellar work including: FV cleaning, BT cleaning, dry hopping/fruit additions, and general brewery upkeep
-Support brew staff as needed
Qualifications:
-Attention to detail
-Able to work in a team environment and independently
-Be punctual, responsive, and take responsibility
-Must keep a clean work environment
-Ability to follow SOPs
-Prior brewery experience preferred but will train the right candidate
-While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for extended periods, kneel and crouch, and routinely/repetitively lift up to 55 pounds alone and 165 pounds with help
This position will primarily work at the Falls Church, VA location, but occasionally may be required to travel to Sterling, VA and Washington, DC.
Hours: 20-25 per week
