    About CBC

In 1890 the finest German-style beer flowed from the taps of the Chattanooga Brewing Company. We grew to a six-story brewhouse that occupied an entire block of Broad Street, producing over 150,000 barrels a year, until Prohibition forced the brewery closure. Nearly a century later, in 2009, two crafty engineers brought together by their mutual love for beer embarked on an adventure to brew something great in the city they both love.

Today, CBC is a historic brewpub in Chattanooga’s Southside neighborhood with an onsite beer production beer facility. The brew staff produces a “faultless quality” line of core and seasonal beers that are distributed in Tennessee and North Georgia. We also pride ourselves on serving house-made food that’s as well thought out as our brews, using locally sourced ingredients whenever possible.

We’re a team of fun, motivated people who are passionate about our history and work with a culture of accountability, inclusion and autonomy. We are a casual, yet professional company promoting a safe working environment and equal opportunity for employment.
