    Tarpon River Brewing is a 10 bbl craft brewery and restaurant located in an 11K sq. ft. horse barn built in 1929 in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. We are passionate about beer and about supporting our local South Florida community where we have deep roots. We are in the midst of an expansion to take us from 1000 bbl/yr to 2000 bbl/yr while continuing to expand our distribution in South and Central Florida.

    We are seeking a capable and creative brewer willing to take on the challenges of brewing and packaging our core brands while developing new ones and participating in our exciting future growth.

    Job Benefits:

    - Creative input to new and old recipes.

    - Must have knowledge of basic brewing as well as professional brewing and cellaring equipment and techniques.
    - Must be able to lift a minimum of 55 lbs. and handle 165 lb kegs effectively.
    - Must have the ability to crouch, kneel, stoop, crawl and climb stairs and ladders while performing duties.
    - Must have knowledge and ability to work safely hazardous chemicals

    Preferred Additional Experience
    - Knowledge of packaging techniques including bottling and canning
    - Forklift certification
    - Mechanical knowledge and ability to diagnose and repair issues

    Job Duties:
    - Brewhouse operations from mash to fermenter.
    - Cellaring, filtering, carbonating, packaging draft, bottles, cans.
    - Managing fermentations and yeast handling
    - Using various aspect of EKOS software to track brewing processes
    - QA/QC sensory and lab
    - Washing and sanitizing kegs
    - CIP of all vessels from brewhouse to cellar
    - Inventory control of raw materials and finished products
    - Maintenance and repair of all systems
