Job Description:
This person is responsible for operating and maintaining a 15bbl, 2-vessel brewhouse at our Downtown DeLand production brewery, as well as assisting the operations manager in leading a small team of brewers and celler persons.

Job Description:
This person is responsible for operating and maintaining a 15bbl, 2-vessel brewhouse at our Downtown DeLand production brewery, as well as assisting the operations manager in leading a small team of brewers and celler persons.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Brewhouse operation and management
- Proper record keeping and inventory tracking
- Raw materials management
- Cellar management
- CIP of fermentation vessels, hoses, and other equipment
- Must maintain sanitary practices in all aspects of beer processing
- Maintaining QA/QC standards
- Carbonation and testing of beer using common brewery analytical tools
- Maintain all ancillary brewing equipment (boiler, chiller, etc)
- Troubleshoot and report all mechanical issues in the brewery
- Maintain production schedules and deadlines with distributors
- Communicate with operations manager on weekly production goals
- Ability to travel and assist other locations as needed
Experience, Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Required:
- Minimum of 3 years brewing experience and 1 year leadership experience
- Absolute passion for the brewing industry and artisan beer production
- Basic math skills and ability to keep accurate records
- Strong attention-to-detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to use initiative and work independently while also being a team player
- High-quality work standards with little to no direct supervision
- Personable and possess the ability to communicate professionally with all members of staff and guests.
- Ability to lift 55 lbs to shoulder height repeatedly and move up to 170 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive motions without issue
- Forklift experience/certification
- Competent in Google applications
