About us:
Banange Brewing Company was founded by Pall (Icelandic) and Adam (Canadian) in 2019. We strive to bring hand-crafted beer of the highest quality to the lips of people in Uganda. Our ales are dressed to impress, with generous servings of a wide range of hops and brewed only with the finest locally produced and malted barley.
Banange is a Luganda word which roughly translates to "Oh my gosh!", and is commonly heard in bars across the country.
We have a 1000L brewhouse, 10.000L fermentation capacity.

About the job:
We are looking for a new head brewer and floor manager. Responsibilities include:
- Brewing delicious craft beer using the finest brewing ingredients and equipment.
- Managing our production team (which includes two capable assistant brewers!). You will lead by example, both supervising and actively participating in all production related operations. This includes bottle cleaning, bottle filling, pasteurizing, labeling, cleaning, etc.

What you offer:
- At least 1-2 years experience brewing craft beer at a professional brewery
- Keen attention to detail
- Willing to get your hands dirty
- Willing to relocate to Uganda for at least 6 months. Staying longer is an option, if that is your preference.
- Chance to live in “the pearl of Africa”, Uganda. The weather here is perfect all year around, safe environment (English spoken everywhere) with plenty of nature to explore close to the city.
- A chance to work with a fast growing craft brewery, the first and only in the country

- Stipend capable of supporting a good lifestyle for an individual in Kampala. This is $1500 after taxes - living expenses in Uganda are very low.
