Duties to include but not limited to the following…
- Assist in wort production on our 15bbl and 7bbl brewhouse
- Assist with cellar duties to include yeast pitch, gravity reading, dry hop, biofine
- Harvesting yeast and monitoring pitch rate
- Tank transfers from fermenter to brite tank
- Carbonation of package beer with emphasis on DO levels
- Attention to detail during CIP/SIP of all brewing equipment
- Forklift abilities and safety protocol/PPE
- Lab work duties
- Monitoring our clean and wild barrels
- Keeping brewing and cellar areas organized and sanitary at all times
- Assist other departments when needed such as inventory, QA/QC, cleaning, festivals
- Ability to work as a team as well as independently
- Able to interact with customers
- Physically able to climb ladders, lift heavy loads, and work in non-climate-controlled spaces
- Forklift skills, computer knowledge
- Knowledge of brewing and packaging process
- Ability to troubleshoot issues, think on your feet
- Mechanical knowledge and understanding
- Attention to cleanliness and detail a must
- Must have a positive attitude
- Must love craft beer
