Frecon’s Cidery makes traditional cider from our family owned orchard in Eastern
Berks County. We grow several varieties of apples and blend all to create unique
flavors and experiences.

Job Summary:

The Production/ Cellar worker is responsible for production of cider, CIPing and
maintenance of cellar workspace and all related equipment, and record keeping.
Work includes operating and maintenance of packaging equipment, work with Head
Cider Maker on production schedule, and maintain packaging and supplies
inventories.

Duties Include:

• Communicate with Cider Sales and build orders
• Packaging and Operating of canning line (Wild Goose), 6 head gravity filler, 2 head counter pressure filler, and kegging
• Operate Lawson 2 head keg washer
• CIPing tanks, pumps, hoses and other cidery equipment as necessary
• Cellar Cider from pressing to racking to transferring (filtering if necessary)
• Maintain packaging (cans and bottles) and supplies (chemicals, cider additives, etc.)
• Computer Skills- Microsoft
• Truck Driving (if necessary)
• Fork Lift operation
• Able to lift weight to shoulder height and stand on feet for long periods

Desired Qualifications:

• No prior brewery experience necessary, but 2+ years in a brewing facility a plus
• Experience with transferring of liquids with pump and hoses (plate filtration a plus)
• Forklift experience
• Attention to detail, professionalism, and good communication skills
