Petty Thieves Brewing Co. looking for an assistant brewer/cellar person to join their young and quickly growing company
Looking for a highly motivated person with a passion for craft beer and brewing.
Cellar/Brewing Experience preferred but not required.
Reports to: Head Brewer
Qualifications:
Preferred 1 year experience in cellaring or brewing
Extreme attention to detail
Great communication, time management, and troubleshooting skills
Ability to effectively multitask
Requirements:
CIP of brewhouse, brite tanks, and fermentation vessels
Preparing any and all ingredients for brewing
Transfer of beer from fermentation to brite tanks
Packaging beer into keg, can and bottle
Miscellaneous cellar operations
Ability to lift 55 lbs on own
Responsibilities:
Cleaning and sanitizing fermentation and brite tanks, assisting with day to day brewing responsibilities, Checking gravities, ph, monitoring fermentation of beer, cold conditioning and carbonating. Keeping a clean and sanitary working environment including floors, floor drains, etc.
Most likely part time to start and eventual full time work
$15-$18/HR
Pay based on experience.
