Our experimental, small-batch brewery and tasting room in Newark, Delaware has an opening for a part-time assistant brewer. We are searching for a candidate who has a strong passion for craft beer and a commitment to world-class quality. It’s a tough but totally rad gig.
Hours
This position requires availability on weekdays and will be 20 hours per week.
Pay
This is a part-time hourly position with competitive pay commensurate with experience.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Be an ambassador of the Autumn Arch Beer Project brand and an advocate of our beers
- Follow procedures to produce wort on our 5 barrel brewhouse
- Clean equipment including brewhouse, heat exchanger, fermenters, brite tanks, kegs, and general facility
- Monitor and manage fermentation of beers
- Transfer to package
- Adhere to brewery safety practices
- Assist in maintaining a clean, friendly, and welcoming environment for staff & customers
Required Qualifications
- Ability to interact professionally and effectively with staff and customers
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Ability to move kegs and operate a hand cart and remain on your feet for several hours
- Possess knowledge of and deep interest in professional brewing
