Production Team Member Needed at Novel Beverage Co - Salisbury, MA
Novel Beverage Co. is seeking a passionate and experienced operator to join our Salisbury, MA team as a Production Team Member. In this role, you will primarily be working with both our Production Lead and Packaging Lead to manufacture high quality cannabis beverages.
Novel Beverage Co. is on the leading edge of the burgeoning cannabis beverage market and this is an opportunity to be part of a rapidly expanding company that will play a large role in shaping the cannabis beverage market in the northeast and beyond.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting in all aspects of beverage production
- Running CIP’s on production equipment and canning line
- Following SOPs for all aspects of brewhouse operations
- Operating canning line
- Operating tunnel pasteurizer
- Operating labeler and coder
- Palletizing cases
- Inventory Management
- Recording detailed data on brewhouse operations
- Assisting with managing and ordering raw materials, ensuring all inventory necessary is available for production
- Ensuring cleanliness and organization of all areas of the production facility
- Assisting in equipment and facility maintenance
- Assisting in lab testing
- Ensuring safety of yourself and other team members at all times
Requirements:
- 2+ years of beverage production experience
- Comfortable in a dynamic, startup environment where you must wear many hats
- Team player – ability to work well with others to accomplish team goals
- Ability to think critically and multitask
- Attention to detail and ability to work unsupervised while maintaining safety and quality standards
- Strong time-management skills
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to flex hours if needed
- Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack (or learn)
- Ability to lift 55+ lbs regularly
- Ability to safely handle concentrated cleaning chemicals on a regular basis
- Ability to crouch, sit, stand, pull, push, bend, and/or twist and stand an entire shift
- Ability to climb and work on a ladder
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
