The Brewing Projekt in Eau Claire WI, is looking for a full-time Brewer/Cellarperson to join our team! The Brewing Projekt is in the eighth year of production and has grown from a 3k SQFT warehouse to a modern 36K sqft brewery with large taproom and private event spaces. We specialize in bringing "unique" and style-bending beers to market. Among our offerings are Milkshake IPAs, intensely dry hopped Pale Ales/IPA/DIPAs, pastry stouts, pastry sours, and fruited sours.
Our current distribution footprint includes Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Michigan, South Dakota, Ohio, Florida, Georgia, Arizona, Massachusetts, Maryland, Texas, Oregon, California, Texas, Japan, China, the UK, and Europe.
Brewery/Cellarperson applicants must possess passion, creativity, technical/mechanical aptitude, and commitment to quality and innovation. We are seeking an individual who can work efficiently, has an everyday commitment to workplace safety, and can closely follow instructions to thrive in a team environment. Ideal applicants should have a minimum of one year of industry experience and a working knowledge of best brewing practices. Formal brewing education is preferred (but not required). Applicants must have legal authorization to be employed in the state of Wisconsin.
Duties of the Brewer/Cellarperson include: Wort Production (Operation of a 20BBL, four-vessel Premier Stainless brewhouse); Cellaring (yeast management, dry hopping / adjunct additions, centrifugation, carbonation, CIP); Documentation (accurate & detailed documentation of all brewing and cellar activities plus strict adherence to standard operating procedures); Safety (maintaining a clean and safe work environment, safe use of chemicals and proper use of PPE, responsible and safe operation of vehicles, forklifts, and scissor lifts); Communication (clear and timely communication with co-workers and supervisors).
