Bolero Snort Brewery, Northern New Jersey's largest craft brewery is hiring an experienced commercial brewer. Bolero Snort is a 10-year-old craft beverage company, having spent 7+ years gypsy brewing while building out a 16,000 SF production facility and tasting room in Carlstadt NJ in the heart of the Meadowlands. Bolero Snort boasts a 30bbl QTS 3 vessel brew house complete, 30, 60 and 90bbl cellar, CODI counter pressure canning line, GEA Centrifuge and ACI Flash Pasteurizer.
Bolero also boasts a robust lineup of rotational and core beers as well as their line of Evil Water hard fruit juice in partnership with Evil Twin brewing, as well as ownership of its own full-service distribution company serving all of NJ with exciting local and interstate beverage brands.
Currently seeking: 1 Full Time brewer with commercial brewing experience.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Wort production and brewhouse operation
Brewhouse cleanliness and maintenance
Creative participation in recipe development
Wort and beer transfer
Fermentation monitoring and data tracking
CIP / SIP and manual cleaning of brewery equipment and production areas
Yeast propagation, harvesting and pitching
Hop, Fruit and adjunct additions
Barrel filling, monitoring and emptying
Basic brewery equipment maintenance
Basic facilities cleaning and maintenance
Adherence to safety and sanitary SOPs
Keg filling and washing
Assistance with tasks outside key responsibilities
Partnership with ownership and other managers to continually improve process and operational excellence.
