Lone Oak Farm Brewing Company is situated on 30 acres in the heart of Montgomery County, Maryland. Less than 20 miles from DC. We are seeking a brewer to help us in production. A strong background in fundamentals of brewing & willingness to participate in ongoing education is a must as we have a large expansion underway and would like for the employee to grow with us. We are seeking an individual that possesses some or all of the following:
-Brewing experience preferably 2-3+ years, including the ability to handle frequent 55 pound lifts, wort production and daily brewhouse operations, assist and operate canning line, keg cleaning/filling, yeast and fermentation management, have the ability to use software (Ekos), etc.
-Preferably local to Maryland and or have local ties.
-Effectively communicate with customers, staff and managers.
-Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable means of transportation.
-Have the ability to work independently while also taking direction well and being a team player.
-Have a flexible work schedule: including evenings, holidays, and weekend shifts, as needed.
-Be open and willing to speak/present in front of people (brew tours, sales etc.)
-Be professional, calm, collected, timely, courteous, dedicated, organized and committed at all times.
