    Black Husky brewing is a small independent brewery owned by Tim and Toni Eichinger. We take our craft seriously and are always looking at ways to improve what we do and how we do it. We reject gimmicks disguised as innovation but are willing to be creative and challenge tradition while still honoring the craft of brewing


    Job Title: Brewer
    Supervisors: Brew Master, Operations Manager

    Black Husky Brewing is seeking a full-time experienced Brewer.

    This is a multi-faceted position with responsibilities that span a broad range of areas consistent with a small, independently owned & operated brewery.

    Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
    • Brewhouse operations (milling, wort production, filtering, etc.)
    • CIP/Sanitation
    • Yeast management
    • Tank management
    • Keg washing
    • Raw materials
    • Scheduling
    • Packaging (kegging & canning - Microcanner canning line)
    • Inventory
    • Equipment maintenance
    • Forklift operation
    • Draft line maintenance
    • Recipe development
    • Record keeping

    Other duties will include:
    • Brand representative at events and festivals
    • Brewery tours
    • Staff education
    • Support of sales staff
    • Being a constant community ambassador for the Black Husky brand

    Key Skills and Qualifications:
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a professional brewer in a commercial brewery or brewpub
    • Self-starter, independent thinker, mature and confident personality
    • Ability and desire to direct and motivate others
    • Desire to grow professionally, drive to stay current with trends and topics, strong knowledge of beer styles
    • Adaptability to changing circumstances and priorities
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills
    • Flexible schedule; willing to work long hours during high volume times, including nights and weekends
    • Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, Email, etc.
    • Mechanical aptitude, problem-solving and troubleshooting nature
    • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
    • 21 years or older and able to pass a criminal background and illegal drug test
    • Ability to work in a loud, wet, cold/hot environment
    • Able to lift 55 pounds and move full kegs

    Compensation based on experience.
