  • Brewers wanted on the Northern California Coast!

Lost Coast Brewery: A great place to get lost… while making great beer! Would you like to make beer in a newer state of the art facility on the beautiful California coast?

Lost Coast was founded in 1989, and 30 years later has risen to one of the top 50 craft breweries in the United States – we’ve come a long way, and we’re still growing! We moved into our new brewery in 2015 - a 77,000 sq. ft. facility with a 120 barrel brewhouse, canning/bottling/kegging lines, a 10 barrel pilot system, laboratory, and more!

We’re looking for brewers that can continue our history of fine beers and help ramp up production. All brewhouse personnel start in the cellar – centrifuging, dry hopping, cleaning, etc. When brewers have completed training in the cellar, they learn to operate our cutting-edge brewhouse equipment.

    • Competitive pay
    • Flexible scheduling
    • Paid vacation and holidays
    • Medical/dental/vision insurance
    • Retirement plan

A strong work ethic and a brewing degree or certificate is REQUIRED, although years of practical brewing experience will also be considered.

Lost Coast Brewery is located in Eureka, CA, the largest city in Humboldt county. Our facility is right on Humboldt Bay, in an area rich with history and natural beauty. Affordable housing, outdoor activities, and mild weather are all part of what makes Eureka a great place to live!

Check out the Eureka Chamber of Commerce video here: Why do we choose to live, work, and play in Eureka, California?

Please send your questions or a resume to

Please note: The brewery is filled with a variety of machinery and conditions can get both loud and wet, as well as vary in temperature. Candidates must be able to remain in stationary positions for long amounts of time, reposition body to work in different spaces, lift/move up to 50 lbs frequently (or more, with mechanical or physical help) and traverse/ascend/descend work spaces at varying heights. Candidates must also be 21 years of age or older.

Just wanted to add that with this position comes the opportunity to learn hard cider production, alongside our cider master! After being available only on draft, we just released our Edge of the Continent ciders in cans!
