Job Description – Cellarman/Assistant Brewer
Compensation: Hourly/DOE
Benefits: Full time only
Job Summary:
Assist with brewery operations to include all aspects of the brewing process, wholesale delivery, packaging and retail sales.
Job Duties:
Assist in day to day brewery operations.
Assist in cellar and packaging operations.
Support retail taproom staff as needed and assigned.
Represent BRBC at events, festivals, and promotions.
Deliver beer to wholesale accounts if needed.
Roles and responsibilities:
Assist in producing and packaging world class quality beer.
Provide top notch service to all customers.
Assist in support of taproom staff as it relates to beer and brewery education.
Represent BRBC in a professional manner at all times.
Job Qualifications:
1 year brewery experience (Minimum)
Some level of formal brewing education or current enrollment
Get it done no matter what attitude
Absolute passion for brewing and beer
Some retail/serving experience desired
Positive attitude
Ability to lift 55 pound sacks of grain
Current WA drivers license with clean record (or can get one)
Ability to work any shift at any time if needed
Able to work well in a team environment
Desire to learn, grow, and take on increased responsibility
High School diploma or GED/some college preferred
Ability to work overtime as needed
