We are seeking a qualified candidate for an immediate opening in our high-paced Middlebury, Vermont brewery.

A Cellarman is expected to take full responsibility of centrifuge operations, yeast handling, tank CIP operations, monitoring all parameters of fermentations, overall cellars sanitation and upkeep, adherence to all SOP’s and safety procedures, general cleanliness of equipment, involvement in pilot brewing program, ability to multitask and work as a group, drive continuous improvements, and perform other duties as assigned.

• Previous experience in a production brewery
• Strong knowledge of brewing process
• Ability to work on all shifts (nights, weekends, holidays)
• Excellent communication skills
• Mechanical aptitude and solid troubleshooting skills
• Desire to advance in the brewing industry
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions, on your feet for prolonged periods of time, and ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
