Atlas Brewing Company is looking to hire a full-time cellarperson/lab tech at our new production brewery on the south side of Chicago.

Duties will involve:
-Cellar work including transfers and CIP
-Packaging kegs and working on our canning line
-Harvesting yeast, counting cells, checking viability
-Quality control including dissolved oxygen, carbon dioxide, and microbiological testing

Necessary qualifications include:
-At least two years experience working full-time in a commercial brewery
-Experience with the duties listed above
-Mindfulness of workplace safety and sanitation
-Ability to lift and move up to 150 pounds
-Willingness to be frequently exposed to wet conditions and extreme hot and cold conditions
-Good written and verbal communication skills
-Willingness to periodically work festivals and other events, engage with customers, and generally be a face for Atlas Brewing Co.
-Passion for craft beer and dedication to ongoing education

Formal laboratory experience or formal education in biochemistry is a plus. As we grow, we will eventually look to have a full-time lab tech on staff.
