32 North Brewing Co. in San Diego is looking for a cellarman! We're a small brewery that's expanding and need a person who loves beer and loves being around making it. Position is slated to start part-time, but has quick full-time potential. Could be the perfect job for brewing school students or to get a jump start in a great industry.
The right candidate will have:
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to think critically and work unsupervised
• Mechanical aptitude and some understanding of mechanical systems
• Ability to maintain detailed documentation for all batches, processes, cleaning, and maintenance
• Ability to lift 55 pound bag of grain or 150 pound kegs
Specific job duties include but are not limited to:
• Raw ingredient management/measurement per recipes/SOPs
• Basic brewhouse operation
• Cellar work including beer transfer, filtration, and carbonation
• Packaging of draft product
• Tank cleaning and sanitation
• Cellar and cold box cleaning
• Leading the charge to keep the brewery clean!
