Bohemian Brewery focuses on lagers and traditional Czech and German beers. We are located on the south side of Salt Lake City in Midvale, twenty minutes from the Wasatch National Forest, world class skiing and outdoor activities, and a short 3 hours from Moab, UT.
-Would need to be available to work a rotating/flexible schedule with occasional afternoons/evenings
-Experience with DE filtration a plus
-Opportunity to formulate small batch recipes
-Duties will encompass cellar, filtering, and packaging (kegs/cans).
-Must be comfortable standing for extended times.
Applicants must have:
* Strong mechanical background
* Willingness to work at a fast pace, yet be precise in daily tasks
* Ability to stand for extended periods of time
* Ability to lift 55 lbs
* Ability to be frequently exposed to wet conditions and work in extreme cold
* Work well under pressure and stress.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* The ability to work independently and in a team with minimal direct supervision
* Flexible hours to support line startup, CIP’s, and changeover
* Fork lift certification a plus
* Genuine enthusiasm for craft beer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Perform prioritized and scheduled maintenance
* Troubleshoot to minimize production downtime.
* Ensure efficient operation of the machines and facility.
* Assist in setting up and making running adjustments to equipment
* Complete project work as assigned by supervisor, often outside of core discipline.
* Ensure the equipment is setup, maintained, and operated to allow for efficient and safe packaging of quality product.
* Maintain a clean and orderly work area, returning tools, equipment and supplies to the appropriate storage areas after each assignment.
