Red Leg Brewing Company in Colorado Springs, CO is looking to add a cellarperson to our team. We are a fast-paced, fun brewery looking to add likeminded individuals. We offer full time employees the following benefits: Health Insurance, Paid Time Off, and a 401k.
- Essential Duties:
- Raw materials receipt, evaluation, storage and handling
- Cellar operations, including fermentation monitoring, dry hopping, beer transfers and operation of a plate and frame filter
- Packaging beer on a Wild Goose 250 canning line and into kegs
- Finished beer inventory management
- CIP and sanitization of cellar and packaging equipment
- Maintenance of all brewing equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Other duties as assigned
- Job qualifications:
- Have experience in a professional brewery setting or have formal brewing education
- Regularly be able to lift 55lbs and maneuver 165 lbs
- Be able to stand for long periods (8+ hours) and work in hot, cold, and wet environments
- Have a detail oriented, quality first mindset
- Strongly value safety within the brewery
- Possess strong organizational and communication skills
- Be able to work a flexible schedule, to include nights and occasional weekends
- Be able to work both collaboratively and independently
- The Ideal Candidate will:
- Have experience operating a Wild Goose canning line
- Possess extensive knowledge of the brewing process, fermentation, and yeast management
- Have experience with brewing analytics equipment
- Have participated in sensory training
- Be able to identify, troubleshoot and solve problems related to beer production and brewing equipment and be able to implement solutions
- Have experience in the maintenance and repair of brewing equipment
