Central City Brewers & Distillers, twice recognised as Canada’s Best Brewery, and one of the country’s fastest growing breweries is seeking to invest in a full-time addition to our Production team.
Expected Duties:
Small format packaging (bottling, canning) operations
Kegging/casking operations
CIP/sanitation operations
Filtration/transfer operations
Barreling/blending operations
Assisting Brewing and Quality departments as required
Desirable Attributes:
Prior experience in production brewery setting. Familiarity with automation platforms would be advantageous.
Internationally recognised brewing qualification (e.g. IBD, Herriot Watt, Siebel, UCD).
Demonstrable passion for craft beer.
Ability to meet the requirements of this physically demanding role i.e. strength to repeatedly lift 25kg bags, mobility to work in tight places, willingness to work in hot/cold/humid/dry conditions, vitality to remain standing and on the move for 8 hours etc.
As this position is based in Surrey, BC it is expected that all applicants will be able to display valid work rights for Canada.
Excellent time management, and ability to multi-task.
Flexible availability (may be day/night shifts, weekdays/weekends etc).
Remuneration package will be commensurate with skills and experience.
