Head Cellar Position
Ipswich Ale Brewery is growing rapidly and we are looking for an experienced and motivated Lead Cellarperson to join our team. We offer competitive pay, health insurance, paid vacation/sick time, and options for a flex spending account, 401 K, and dental insurance.
The ideal candidate:
Has centrifuge experience.
Is a good leader.
Has the ability to work independently, but also works well on a team.
Is quality driven.
Has good time management skills.
Pays attention to detail.
Is good at troubleshooting.
Responsibilities include:
• Staff scheduling
• Dry hopping
• Centrifuge operation
• Yeast management
• Ordering chemicals, soda ingredients, & other cellar-related items as needed.
• Maintaining Beer Run (brewery management software) as it applies to cellar work.
• Tank maintenance
• Sanitary handling

About Ipswich Ale: Ipswich Ale has been making beer since 1991 in the quiet coastal town of Ipswich, MA. In 2014 we moved into our new facility and hit the 25K BBL mark in production. In 2015 we’ve already produced over 50 different beer styles between the Ipswich brand and our contract brewing business.
