  • Packaging Lead & Cellar Assistant - Resident Culture Brewing Company - Charlotte, NC

Resident Culture is a five year old locally owned and operated brewery located in the Plaza Midwood neighborhood of Charlotte, NC and we are expanding our production and looking for someone to grow with us. We have a strong focus on carefully crafted lager beer, assertive hop forward ales, fruited sours, and barrel aged stouts and mixed culture ales. We consider our beer quality to be extremely important but secondary to how we treat our employees and the human connections we make. We highly value each of our employees and have created a tight family community amongst our staff and are looking to expand our family by adding a full time lead packaging operator and cellar assistant to our team. In addition to finding someone with the necessary technical skills and experience we are principally looking for individuals who are good fits with our company culture and core values.

The new team member we hire will work closely with our our Lead Brewer, QA lead and Director of Brewing Ops to ensure the highest quality packaged product possible. This person will also help with a variety of other cellar, production and brewing tasks. Ideally this person should have a deep passion for beer and brewing and producing the highest quality product. We value the packaging team as highly as any other member of our brew team. We believe that packaging is arguably the most critical moment in a beer's life cycle. A perfectly brewed and cellared beer will be ruined if the packaging process is not done with the utmost care and attention. We are a fast growing brewery and anticipate opportunities for growth and promotion from within. If this person shows a good work ethic and aptitude we hope to cross train them in cellar operations such as brite tanks and fermenter CIP, beer transfers, and centrifuge operation.
