HENNIKER BREWING COMPANY: Packaging Lead/Cellar Person
Henniker Brewing Company is looking to hire a motivated, experienced and generally awesome person to add to our production team as our Packaging Lead. A little about us: We’ve been brewing beer New Englanders could be proud to drink since 2012. We’re nestled off Old Concord Road just outside of downtown Henniker in Merrimack County, New Hampshire.
This is a full-time, hourly position. Work week is based on a 40 hour schedule, Monday-Friday. Due to the production schedule, incidental overtime may be required.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain a clean, orderly and safe work environment
- Maintain quality control and safety standards
- Can beer on our Wild Goose canning line
- Operate keg washer
- Clean/fill kegs
- Pull/palletize orders for our distributors
- Daily and preventative maintenance
- Forklift operation – on site training/certification available
- Work with hazardous chemicals
- Perform various cellar operations
- Set up, operate, and clean can packaging line equipment
- Startup and shutdown of facility processes
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be 21 years old.
- Must have a strong work ethic and a can-do attitude.
- Must have an interest or passion for working in the craft beer industry.
- Ability to follow directions and problem solve
- Ability to safely operate machinery
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Ability to contribute to positive work environment
- Ability to learn quickly and apply new procedures and skills
- Proper use of PPE
- Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crawl and crouch.
- Heavy physical work including climbing ladders, pushing pallets of grain, pulling hoses, etc.
- Willingness to work in hot, cold, and wet conditions
- Ability to handle heavy objects safely. Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and routinely maneuver kegs weighing up to 165lbs.
- Ability to safely handle hazardous chemicals in accordance with strict safety protocols
EXPERIENCE IN ANY OF THE FOLLOWING IS PREFERRED
- Beverage industry experience, craft beer preferred.
- Packaging line experience
- Forklift experience
