Moat Mountain is looking for a cellar person to add to our production crew. Responsibilities include working on the canning line, cleaning and filling kegs, warehousing duties, general facility cleaning and sanitization. We promote from within so this role has been the first step for most of our brewery staff including brewers.
Required Skills and Abilities, Certifications, Licenses:
*On your feet all day, lifting, bending and reaching
*Follow work instructions, SOP's, and safety protocols
*Excellent attention to detail
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills
*Move 150 pounds and lift 50 pounds
*Tolerance for a work environment that is regularly wet, with various temperature ranges and load noises
*A valid drivers license is required
This is a full time entry level position with the opportunity for advancement and pay increases over time. Starting pay is $16 per hour with $1 increase after the first 3 months and another $1 at a year. We would pay considerably more for someone with experience. Employee health insurance offered, flexible hours and paid time off after first year. We have no graveyard shifts, this is a 9-5 job (8-4 actually) 40 hours per week., year round.
Our small family owned brewery is located in the heart of the White Mountain National Forest. We are surrounded by beautiful mountains, rivers, lakes, ski resorts, world class rock and ice climbing and some of the friendliest people on the East Coast.
