Cellar Operator
Bootstrap Brewing is a young, fun, growing brewery in Longmont, Colorado that’s looking for a Cellar Operator. This individual must be passionate about beer and our beer culture, quality focused, safety driven, have high attention to detail, and be team-oriented to join our Bootstrap team. We work hard and play hard and want this individual to be social and fun.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with great organizational skills to help with the cold side operation. This individual must have 1-2 years of cellar experience and is expected to perform the following functions:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with great organizational skills to help with the cold side operation. This individual must have 1-2 years of cellar experience and is expected to perform the following functions:
- CIP/SIP fermenters, brite tanks, and serving tanks both inside and out
- Operation and cleaning of lenticular filter
- Daily fermentation monitoring including gravity and pH readings
- Yeast harvest, pitching and health management
- Transfer of wort and beer from tank to tank
- Carbonation of beer to correct specification
- Operation of Anton-Paar C-Box
- Assist Packaging Team with canning, kegging, assembling 12-packs
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to set up transfer hoses from fermenters to brite tank using clamps and gaskets and use appropriate chemicals to clean/sanitize hoses using CIP pump
- Capable of moving pallets of ingredients into proper position with a pallet jack and/or forklift (forklift certification is a plus)
- Requires ability to lift and move objects that weigh up to 50 lbs with the occasional lifting/moving of 165 lbs kegs
- Able to work well in a team environment with a positive attitude and also work independently without supervision
- Have awesome communication skills with people
- Adheres to quality workmanship and is detail-oriented
- Must be willing to work the occasional weekend and/or evening as required
- Must be able to twist/turn, reach over shoulders, bend/stoop and stand/walk on a continual basis
- Work in a hot/cold, wet environment
- Loves to drink beer, talk beer and listen to rock and roll!
