Brewer/Lead Cellar Person
Three Stars Brewing Company in Washington, DC is looking for a full-time Brewer/Lead Cellar Person. We’re looking to add to our already outstanding team with people that possess a passion for making great beer with an emphasis on innovation and quality.
Ideal candidate will have the following:
• Strong work ethic
• Team oriented but also independently driven
• Strong problem solving ability
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and work in a high paced environment
• Mechanical background or ability
• Experience in yeast handling
• Ability to manage production schedule with support of Head Brewer
• Good cleaning and sanitizing abilities
• Willing and looking to learn
• 3+ years brewery experience
Physical requirements:
• Ability to lift 55+ lbs repeatedly
• Ability to crouch, kneel, stoop, crawl and other brewing/cellaring maneuvers into tight spaces repeatedly
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work in noisy environment
• Ability to work in hot or cold environment for prolonged periods of time
Position reports directly to Head Brewer. Successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of brewery operations from brewing to packaging.
