Transmitter Brewing is now accepting cover letters and resumes for a PART-TIME, entry-level brewery position.
This will be a part time job that could eventually shift into a full time position. 15-30 Hours a week with possible weekend shift to begin. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist in day-to-day brewery operations
• Assist in brewery cellars, brewhouse, and packaging area
• Responsible for the cleaning of empty kegs
• Assist in packaging operations
• Assist with maintenance and overall cleanliness of entire brewery including; tank exteriors, floors, and storage areas
• Communicate with brewery team in clear, timely manner
• Support retail tasting room staff as needed and assigned
• Professionally represent the brewery at events, festivals, and promotions
• Represent the brewery in a professional manner at all times
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Clean brewery facilities, kegging, and bottling areas on a regular schedule
• Assist with deliveries and empty keg pick-ups
Experience, Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Required:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Absolute passion for brewing and the craft beer industry
• Strict attention to detail
• Desire to learn, grow, and take on increased responsibility
• Experience operating a forklift, or desire to learn to operate a forklift
• Adaptable to changes in brewing, packaging, and production schedules
• Ensure preventative maintenance procedures occur accurately and routinely
• High-quality work standards with and without direct supervision
• Punctuality and reliable attendance to ensure schedule stays on track
• Abide by proper and safe operations of every machine in work area and follow all safety rules
• Ability to lift 55 lbs. to shoulder-height repeatedly
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, reach, stoop, lift up to 170 lbs., reach over shoulders, and perform repetitive motions without issue
• Prior experience in a production brewery or production facility preferred
• Pay will depend on experience. No experience is needed but is a bonus.
