Stem Ciders is expanding its team and is seeking a highly motivated, hardworking individual to fill the position of Cellar/Packaging Technician. The position is full-time, and will be offered a competitive compensation package including benefits. At a minimum, candidates must possess the skills below and be able to thrive in a rapidly growing, fast-paced environment.
About Stem Ciders:
Located in the heart of Denver's RiNo district, Stem Ciders produces dry hard ciders. We strive to honor the apple's purity and clarity by using traditional cidermaking techniques; the fruit has a lot to say if you listen to it carefully. Our barrel program uses traditional methods to complement the flavors and aromas of the fruit with interesting oak characteristics.
Responsibilities:
• Fermentation Vessel and Brite Tank CIP and sanitation
• Work on packaging lines
• General cider house cleaning
• Assist cidermaker in barrel maintenance
• Clean and fill kegs
• General equipment maintenance
• Accurate record keeping
• Forklift operation
• Assist cidermaker and production manager with day to day operations
• Additional duties may be assigned throughout the cidery as necessary
Requirements:
• Detail oriented
• Good work ethic
• Good organizational skills
• Positive attitude while working in a team environment
• Strong desire to learn and grow with the company
• Ability to lift 55lbs to shoulder, and 160lbs to hip
• Ability to work near moving mechanical parts, chemicals, wet floors/equipment while keeping to strict sanitary requirements
