Scofflaw Brewing Company has an immediate opening for a full time Cellar Person/ Packaging position. We are a 15 BBL, four vessel system located in Atlanta, GA that is growing like crazy and could use an extra set of hands.
The ideal candidate will have:
-2 years experience at a production brewery
-4 year science degree and/or formal brewing education
-Forklift certification
-Passionate about craft beer
-Strong knowledge of the brewing process
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Assisting brewers
-CIP fermenters, bright tanks, and other equipment
-Transfer beer between tanks
-Package beer into kegs
-Dry hopping
-Cleaning all areas of the brewery and maintain a clean working environment
-Yeast monitoring and management
-Carbonation monitoring
Qualifications and Working Conditions:
-Must be 21 or older
-Must be able to lift 160lbs
-Must be able to stand on feet for extended periods of time
-Must be able to work in an environment that is not temperature controlled
-Variable shifts
-Reports to Brewmaster
