Mother Kombucha is looking for someone excited about the craft kombucha industry with experience working on a production line (Meheen knowledge a huge plus!) and familiarity with cellar work. At Mother we believe that what is healthy should also be delicious and our mission is to create the very best products from fair and clean methods. We are organic, vegan and kosher certified and believe in using our business as a force for good. This is a part time position that could quickly grow to full time.

    Absolute Must-Haves:

    Production line experience

    Self starter with strong work ethic

    Flexible Schedule

    Ability to lift 50# repeatedly

    Ability to multi-task

    Excellent problem solving skills

    Function well in high paced environment

    Work well independently and as team

    Mechanically inclined

    Experience in cellar work strongly preferred

    Responsibilities and Activities include but not limited to:

    All aspects of handling of product from end of fermentation until leaving the building - transfers, brite tank, packaging (kegging and bottling), cleaning and sanitation procedures
    Following SOPS
    Logs/record keeping
    Safe handling of chemicals
    Packaging prep (build case boxes, labeling)

    Position will require daily interaction with the following equipment:

    Meheen bottling line

    Centrifugal pump

    CO2 Tanks/Regulators

    Tri-Clamp fittings

    Air compressor

    Pallet jack

    Plate filter
