    The Santa Fe Brewing Co. is New Mexico’s oldest and largest brewery. We currently distribute our products in five states and have been experiencing rapid growth. We are on track to brew over 15,000 bbls of beer in 2012 and expect to surpass 20,000 bbls in 2013. We are located in beautiful Santa Fe, NM at the base of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range. Santa Fe is a world-renowned hub for artists, foodies, environmental revolutionaries, and outdoor enthusiasts alike.
    In order to keep up with growing demand, we are developing the new position of Packaging Manager. We currently operate a 2010 Cask 5 head automated canning line (30 cans/minute) as well as a 1987 Simonazzi 16 valve 4 head crowner bottling line (110 bottles/minute).
    The Packaging Manager will take on the following responsibilities in addition to new initiatives in packaging:
    -Work consistently on many packaging shifts by overseeing the proper use of people and machines to make the highest quality of package beer our standard
    -Establish and maintain thorough record-keeping procedures
    -Communicate with Brewmaster and QC/QA tech to create and implement better procedures to improve package quality
    -Develop SOPs for all packaging positions
    - Select, manage and train all packaging personnel
    -Establish and maintain inventory levels of all packaging material to always have enough materials on hand to meet production goals
    -Work closely with Maintenance Manager and Brewmaster to implement and oversee preventative maintenance on packing machinery and to maintain adequate spare parts
    -Quickly identify and communicate existing or potential issues
    -Exemplify and reward our company values of Passion, Quality and Teamwork
    The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
    -Experience working with beverage packaging equipment
    -Experience managing employees
    -Knowledge of OSHA standards
    -Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques
    -Engineering/manufacturing experience
    -A knowledge of and passion for craft beer
