Awestruck is seeking an experienced Operations and Business Manager to learn and lead our fast-growing craft beverage company in rural upstate New York.
The ideal candidate is not only entrepreneurial, but is also with a strong work ethic, a mind for optimization and a desire to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
This isn't your average management job, this is a leadership position. Leading by example is our culture; learning it, doing it yourself, then teaching and coaching others. Yes, you will have management responsibilities, like generating and fulfilling sales, analyzing weekly financial and operational reports to improve operations, setting (and hitting) all types of goals from sales targets to customer service to quality in our production (there’s that “quality” word again!).

You will be responsible for the day-to-day production, documentation, and compliance work required in the craft beverage industry. You will likely thrive on overseeing and getting your hands dirty in production, smiling 'til your cheeks hurt in the taproom, and representing Awestruck Ciders with pride at markets, bars, restaurants, and any other place Cider-lovers abound! You will need to understand lean manufacturing, distribution in the beverage industry, and know how to market into the distributor channels.
You will be responsible for leading a team of fifteen+ employees in various roles, acting as leader and organizer while growing the company overall. An ownership mentality is a must, as this position will lead to becoming a vested owner for the right candidate that can demonstrate their leadership.
You are coachable, learning the business, the customers, the staff, and the product.

Salary is negotiable based on your background and experience, with quarterly commission payments tied to growth.
