    Primary Objective:
    Coordinate and execute the flow of taproom beer sales and guest entertainment at Zuni Street Brewing Company.

    Essential Duties:
    • Manage, direct and supervise bar staff in day to day operations. Tasks include: write and post monthly schedule for bartenders, servers and host while adjusting as necessary to cover team member call-ins or shortages, and adjusting the amount of staff on-hand as business dictates (labor cost control); hire and train new staff as necessary; enforce Zuni Street standards of work behavior including timeliness, attitude, customer interactions, adherence to the drinking policy, completion of sidework and recording of financial transactions; respond to and resolve customer concerns and complaints and correct potential problems before they affect customers; field grievances from front of house employees and work with owners to resolve when necessary; encourage individual initiative beyond job requirements; execute reservations for private parties as necessary; foster the positive Zuni Street Culture among team members.
    • Responsible for the seamless operation of the taproom in regards to staffing, supplies, and event execution, 7 days a week. This requires advanced managerial planning to accommodate for personal time off.
    • Monitor and record cash flow through daily balance of small cash drawer, preparation and reconciliation of cash drawers, and monitoring and maintaining strict and consistent adherence to company cash control policies, including accountability and responsibility for any and all cash inconsistencies.
    • Maintain taproom standards of cleanliness, appearance, and functionality. Tasks include: oversee and assist in daily cleaning of bar area, taproom/patio spaces, and restrooms; maintain and troubleshoot taproom equipment as necessary; ensure consistent supply of taproom necessities through regular ordering of glassware, snack items, NA beverages, custodial supplies, and any other necessities; maintain fluency in Arryved POS system and ensure the daily functionality of POS machines and printers; have knowledge and maintain functionality of PA system.
    • Organize, develop, and facilitate brewery sponsored events on a weekly and yearly basis. This includes live music, brewery-sponsored parties, special beer releases, and more.
    • Act as a supervisor/leader in daily operations through consistent presence during operating hours, assisting staff as necessary, and closing the bar on a regular basis.
    • Taproom improvements and projects in coordination with the owners
    • Promote, encourage, and expand the “Zuni Street Culture” amongst staff and customers.

    • 3+ years experience in the service industry
    • Managerial experience preferred
    • Ability to lead in a fast paced, highly dynamic environment
    • Ability to tackle a multitude of tasks

    • 40 hours/week
    o 1-2 managerial shifts/week
    o 3-4 bar closing shifts/week
    • Availability on nights and weekends a must
    • Regular communication with owners
