    Taproom Manager – Kirkland, WA Chainline Brewing Company is an award-winning brewery founded in 2015 with the singular goal of making great beer. We are growing quickly and have expanded our footprint with a newly constructed taproom in Kirkland, WA. The Taproom Manager will be an integral part of the management team and will be tasked with managing all daily aspects of the taproom as well as input on brewery operations.

    Taproom Specific Goals • Maintain an educational, exciting and inviting experience • Manage Tap Room guest satisfaction and overall brewery visitor experience • Manage, create and communicate menu options and taproom needs • Provide customers with beer information, history, and be able to respond to customers questions • Clean, organize and re-stock tasting room • Manage kitchen and menu options • Management Specific Goals • Manage Tap Room schedule and staffing needs • Coordinate staffing and events with General Manager • Create objectives by selecting, orienting, training, coaching and counseling staff • Constantly and consistently communicate job expectations to staff • Educate staff on beers, techniques, history, and creating exceptional customer experience • Maintain safe, healthy and sustainable tap room environment • Create events and promotions within the taproom • Manage cash and create deposits Profitable growth • Manage merchandise inventory and participate in merchandise selection to forecast inventory needs • Analyze trends on visitors, events, beer, food and merchandise • Merchandise the taproom displays to effectively sell beer, food, and other products • Manage the sales and execution of both private and public events • Create metrics to measure success rate for taproom and events

    Experience/Skills • Knowledge of and passion for craft beer and the brewing industry • 5 years hospitality industry - bar, restaurant, brewery, or winery, or retail management • Purchasing, inventory controls, marketing, and budgetary controls • Knowledge and experience with Restaurant POS Systems • Skills and experience in verbal communication and customer focus • Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and events • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and proven leadership skills • Entrepreneurial attitude and willing to go the extra mile for your staff Physical Requirements: • Must be able to lift and maneuver full beer kegs • Must be able to stand on feet for 3-4 hours at a time • Must be at least 21 years old
