TWIN BARNS BREWING COMPANY GENERAL MANAGER
Twin Barns Brewing Co. is looking for a highly motivated, process driven professional to serve as General Manager. It is the primary responsibility of the GM to take full ownership of the day-to-day operations of the Tasting Room & Kitchen in addition to driving traffic and enthusiasm for the TBBC brand, creating a beer-centric, respectful, professional environment that highlights high-quality products and people, and an overall positive customer experience. The ideal candidate must have a passion for craft and a self-starting work ethic, in addition to 2+ years of restaurant, service or professional experience.
Expectations include but are not limited to:
- Leading by example and TBBC cultural advocacy.
- Creation, maintenance + execution of house policy and standards.
- Managing and growing a healthy and vibrant internal culture.
- Maintaining and improving upon best business practices.
- Scheduling and management of FOH Staff.
- Coordination and cooperation with BOH and Production Staff.
- FOH Staff Orientation + Training.
- Beer + Brewing Education.
- Professional-level Communications management.
- Events Management.
- Community Relations.
Knowledge, skill and experience:
- Collaborative spirit and ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
- Must have fantastic communication skills, both internally and externally.
- Must have excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Must have a methodical nature with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Should have “hands on” leadership skills, with the ability to work within and lead as a part of a team.
- Capable of managing a staff with the desire to teach others.
- Should have a strong work ethic and the ability to work under pressure and multitask
Qualifications + Preferred Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Qualified beer experience is a BIG plus
- Restaurant / Retail experience is a plus
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Able to work a flexible schedule
- Weekends, holidays and evenings required
Compensation
- $40-$50K / YR depending on experience level, figure does not include possible gratuities or bonuses.
