Maintenance Manager – Catawba Brewing Company

Description:
Full time maintenance manager responsible for all equipment operation and preventative maintenance across 5 brewing locations in North and South Carolina covering the Catawba Brewing Company, Palmetto Brewing Company and Twisp Southern Hard Seltzer Brands. Maintain and execute all roles according to company policy, SOP’s, and safety procedures. Proven mechanical and problem-solving skills with a history of working in a manufacturing business.

Job Responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• • Monitor equipment to ensure proper operation, and work with production teams daily. Lead all equipment breakdowns and repairs.
  • Develop SOP’s and programs for periodic equipment testing and maintenance.
  • Manage and update SOPs and logs for preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Work with management to improve location processes.

Job Requirements:

• • High school diploma or equivalent. A degree or certification in an engineering field is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of preventative maintenance experience. Experience in Craft Beer or Food/Beverage manufacturing preferred.
  • Basic understanding of Boilers, Electrical Engineering, Brewhouse systems, Can line systems, refrigeration, steam systems, plumbing and PLC programming all a plus.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Ability to work independently while being able to manage priorities.
  • Ability to regularly travel to locations in Charleston South Carolina as we all Asheville, Charlotte, and Wilmington North Carolina. Position will be based out of Morganton North Carolina.
