Atlanta Brewing Co. is seeking a Production Manager to join our team. Founded in 1993, we're Georgia's oldest craft brewery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Production Scheduling - Work with brewers, sales/operations to schedule brews, cellar movements, and pack out plans. Schedule staffing of production team to meet production requirements. Batch and yield reporting
- Government Compliance - Responsible for government compliance. TTB reporting, brewers report of operations, waste water compliance, etc
- Inventory Procurement and Finished Goods Management - Responsible for on-time delivery of all production needs including: cans, bottles, packaging, CO2, etc. Physical inventory counts, managing vendor relationships boxes, trays, cans, lids, kegs, caps, collars, and returns of pallets and layer separators
- Shipping / Receiving - Responsible for shipping and receiving of finished goods and brewery supplies. Ensure proper documentation, quantities and quality
- Facility management - lead efforts to coordinate work and vendors to ensure the high quality operation of the physical plant
- Cooler organization and product rotation to avoid OOD issues in stock
- Ongoing analysis of yields and quality
- Maintain a clean and organized brewery environment
- Assist in maintaining our maintenance schedule and preventative maintenance requirements
- Maintain a positive and productive work environment for entire production staff
- Part time cellar work as scheduled including: transfers, CIP, SIP, fermentation management, packaging assistance
- Assist with all areas of production including canning, kegging, loading and unloading of trucks
- Direct supervisor and point person for all packaging work, build schedule for packaging team with Head Brewer
- Coordinate with Head Brewer for managing inventory of brewery chemicals, and maintenance of all SDS/TDS documents relating to chemicals
- Collaborate with Head Brewer on cellar SOP development
- Collaborate with Head Brewer on preventative maintenance schedule
- Oversee and assign staff for facilities management in coordination w/ Head Brewer: PM schedule, effluent cleaning, etc
Skills / Qualifications
- At least three years working in a production brewery preferred
- Positive Attitude - Ability to maintain a positive attitude and positive outlook
- Leadership Skills - Provide leadership and maintain a positive and productive work environment
- Time Management - Ability to manage time and priorities to effectively execute job responsibilities and provide feedback to help the company grow and improve
