Lone Oak Farm Brewing Co. is situated on 30 acres in the heart of Montgomery county MD, less than 20 miles north of DC. We are seeking a taproom Manager to help us with oversight of staff, scheduling, inventory, etc. We prefer a highly motivated individual looking to be a leader within a team atmosphere. A strong background in the hospitality industry is encouraged. Compensation is negotiable and will be based on experience, value and character. We are seeking an individual that possesses some or all of the following:
- 2-3 years of restaurant & hospitality management experience.
- 3-5 years as server, bartender or other front of house position.
- Ability to manage people & properly schedule staff.
- Fully competent in using Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Familiar with Toast POS
- Ability to keep organized inventory lists (food, merchandise, etc.).
- Effectively communicate with customers, staff and managers.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable means of transportation.
- Ability to work independently while also giving/taking direction well and being a team player.
- Preferably local to Maryland and or have local ties.
- Have a flexible work schedule: including evenings, holidays, and weekend shifts, as needed.
- Be open and willing to speak/present in front of people (brew tours, sales etc.)
- Be positive, energetic, professional, collected, timely, polite, dedicated, organized and committed to the Company at all times.
