Half Lion Brewing Co is a small brewery south of Seattle in Sumner, WA seeking a craft brewing expert to elevate our team to the next level. Looking for someone who knows the entire process with experience in packaging, brewing and managing people. Must have a growth mindset and open to trying new things, ability to communicate and motivate employees to look at the big picture in creating great, quality beer. Experience in large scale production facilities needed.
Duties include:
Working closely with brewers/production staff/packaging team to hire, train, manage our dedicated staff in creating quality, easy drinking craft beer
Collaborate with brewer and sales team to write and manage production schedules
Ensure equipment and facilities are in proper condition
Develop and ensure adherence to SOPs
Manage procurement, inventory and storage of ingredients
Assist with production tasks in any area of the brewery
Qualifications:
3-5 years brewing experience in mid to large size brewery
Supervisor experience
Exceptional leadership and management skills
Excellent verbal and written communications
